This Tue Arriba Cacao is grown on trees up to 80 years old in high-elevation volcanic soil harvested only when fully repened. The cacao beans are always sun-dried keeping the Cacao 100% raw from start to finish. Cacao Paste aka. Cacao Liquer is made by grinding the full bean very finely until it has become a paste (nothing added or removed.) Cacao Paste is used in the making of chocolate, eaten plain or with dried fruit/sweetener, and added to baking.
